Glam Cabin – Basic Terms and Conditions 

 

Welcome to Glam Cabin! These Terms and Conditions govern the booking and provision of beauty treatments at our cabin. By booking and receiving treatments, you agree to these terms. 

 

1. Booking and Payment 

 

Booking Process: All treatments must be booked in advance through our website/booking system or by contacting Helen directly. A valid payment method is required to secure your booking. 

 

Payment: To secure an appointment, customers must pay a 50% deposit at the time of booking. Certain treatments may require full payment in advance, while others can be paid upon arrival. 

 

2. Cancellations and Rescheduling 

 

Cancellation Policy: If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the appointment will result in a forfeiture of the deposit. 

 

No-Show: Failure to attend your appointment without prior notice will result in a non-refundable charge of the full treatment amount. 

 

Rescheduling: Clients may reschedule their appointment at least 48 hours in advance without losing their deposit. If rescheduling is requested within 48 hours, the deposit will be forfeited. 

 

Business Cancellations: If Glam Cabin cancels an appointment, the client will be offered either a full refund of their deposit or the opportunity to reschedule at a mutually convenient time. Clients will be notified as soon as possible in case of any changes. 

 

3. Arrival and Late Policy 

 

Arriving on Time: Please arrive on time for your appointment. 

 

Late Arrivals: If you are late for your appointment, your treatment time may be shortened to avoid delays for other clients. If you're more than 15 minutes late, your appointment may be cancelled, and a cancellation fee may apply. 

 

4. Health and Safety 

 

Health Disclosure: It is your responsibility to inform us of any health conditions, allergies, or contraindications (such as pregnancy, skin conditions, or recent surgeries) that may affect your ability to undergo treatment. 

 

Consultation: For treatments, a consultation may be required to assess suitability before proceeding. For training, a pre-course consultation may also take place. 

 

5. Conduct 

 

Respectful Behaviour: We ask that all customers and participants maintain respectful behaviour. Glam Cabin reserves the right to refuse service to anyone displaying inappropriate behaviour. 

 

Personal Items: Glam Cabin is not responsible for any lost or damaged personal items during treatments or training sessions. 

 

6. Liability 

 

Treatment Risks: While we take every precaution to provide safe and effective treatments, there is always some level of risk involved in beauty services. By booking a treatment, you acknowledge that you understand these risks. 

 

Training Liability: Glam Cabin is not liable for any accidents or injuries that may occur during training. By attending a training session, you acknowledge that you are participating at your own risk. 

 

7. Intellectual Property 

 

Content Ownership: All content on our website, including images, course materials, and branding, is the property of Glam Cabin and is protected by copyright law. Unauthorized use of these materials is prohibited. 

 

8. Privacy and Data Protection 

 

Personal Data: By booking a treatment or training course, you consent to the collection and use of your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. 

 

9. Modifications 

 

Glam Cabin reserves the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and your continued use of our services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. 

 

10. Governing Law 

 

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of [Great Britain], and any disputes will be handled in the courts of [Maidenhead].

Training: Terms and Conditions 

 

Welcome to Glam Cabin Training! By booking and attending our beauty training courses, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully. 

 

  1. Course Enrolment and Payment 

 

Enrolment: To enrol in a training course, you must complete the registration process through our online booking system or by contacting us directly. A 50% deposit must be paid at the time of registration to secure your spot. The remaining balance must be settled before the course start date as per our payment terms. 

 

Payment: Payment for training courses must be made in full at least 24 hours prior to the training date unless agreed otherwise. We accept various payment methods including clearpay and klarna. 

 

 

Course Fees: The course fee includes training materials and certification, unless specified otherwise. Any additional costs, such as travel or accommodation, are the responsibility of the student. 

 

  2. Cancellations and Refunds 

 

Cancellations: Deposits are non-refundable. However, you may reschedule your training date once, provided that a minimum of 7 days’ notice is given. 

 

Transfers: If you cannot attend the course, you may transfer your enrolment to another available date, subject to availability, and a transfer fee may apply. 

 

No Shows: If you fail to attend a course without prior notice, the course fee is non-refundable, and you will lose your place on the course. 

 

   3. Course Content and Delivery 

 

Course Format: Courses are delivered in the format outlined on our website or promotional materials. This may include in-person training, online learning, or a combination of both. 

 

Content Access: Training materials will be provided to you as part of your course. Access to online materials may expire after a certain period, depending on the course. 

 

  4. Attendance and Participation 

 

On-Time Attendance: You are expected to attend all sessions of the course. If you are late or absent, your ability to complete the course may be affected, and additional fees may apply for rescheduling or catch-up sessions. 

 

Conduct During Training: We expect all participants to behave respectfully toward instructors and fellow students. Glam Cabin reserves the right to remove any participant from the course for inappropriate behaviour or misconduct without refund. 

 

  5. Certification and Qualifications 

 

Completion Requirements: To receive a certificate, you must attend the entire course and complete any practical or theoretical assessments required. 

 

Certification: Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive a certificate of completion. However, this certification does not imply professional accreditation or qualification beyond the scope of the training course. 

 

Validity: Certification is issued upon successful completion of the training and is valid once all required case studies have been completed. Glam Cabin does not provide additional certification unless stated otherwise. 

 

  6. Health and Safety 

 

Health Disclosure: It is your responsibility to disclose any medical conditions, allergies, or other relevant information that may affect your ability to participate in the training. Please inform us of any concerns prior to the course. 

 

Liability: By enrolling in the course, you agree to take full responsibility for your safety and well-being during training. Glam Cabin is not responsible for any injuries or accidents that occur during training sessions. 

 

  7. Use of Course Materials 

 

Intellectual Property: All course materials, including manuals, videos, and resources, are the intellectual property of Glam Cabin. You may not share, copy, or distribute any training materials without written permission. 

 

Post-Course Use: The skills learned during training are for personal use or business use within the beauty industry, as permitted by law. You may not teach or sell the content of the training without express consent from Glam Cabin. 

 

  8. Privacy and Data Protection

Cancellation Policy: If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance. Appointments can be amended with 48 hours’ notice. Cancellations or rescheduling with less than 48 hours’ notice will result in the loss of your deposit. Deposits are non refundable. 

 

No-Show: Failure to attend your appointment without prior notice will result in your deposit being lost. 

 

Rescheduling: If you wish to reschedule, we will try our best to accommodate you based on availability. Rescheduling is allowed with at least 48 hours notice.

Treatment Results: Results from beauty treatments can vary depending on individual skin types, health, and lifestyle. We cannot guarantee specific results, and by booking a treatment, you acknowledge and accept that the outcome may vary. 

 

Risks and Side Effects: While every effort is made to ensure safety, some treatments carry inherent risks (e.g., redness, irritation, or mild discomfort). If you experience any unexpected side effects, please contact us immediately. 

 

  6. Personal Items and Conduct 

 

Personal Belongings: Glam Cabin is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged personal items during your visit. 

 

Client Behaviour: We reserve the right to refuse service to any client who behaves disrespectfully. We ask that you maintain a respectful and calm demeanour throughout your visit. 

 

  7. Gift Vouchers and Promotions 

 

Gift Vouchers: Gift vouchers are valid for a specified period and are non-refundable. Vouchers must be presented at the time of treatment. They cannot be exchanged for cash. 

 

Promotions: Any promotional offers or discounts are subject to availability and cannot be combined with other offers. Terms and conditions apply to each promotion. 

 

  8. Liability 

 

Liability Waiver: By booking a treatment, you agree to do so at your own risk. Glam Cabin is not liable for any injuries, allergic reactions, or other adverse effects that may occur during or after the treatment. 

 

Treatment Responsibility: We will always perform treatments with the highest level of care and professionalism, but we are not responsible for any external factors that may affect your results (e.g., sun exposure, skincare products used at home, etc.). 

 

  9. Privacy and Data Protection 

 

Personal Data: Any personal data we collect during the booking process, treatment, or consultation will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. 

 

  10. Changes to Terms and Conditions 

 

Glam Cabin reserves the right to update or amend these Treatment Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website, and by continuing to use our services, you agree to abide by the updated terms.
